Sohail is currently working as a staff economist at Applied Economic Research Center, University of Karachi and has been teaching research methods and labour economics. He has been associated with Collective as a visiting researcher since 2002 and has worked on different projects including “Determinants and Drivers of Poverty Reduction in Rural Pakistan”, “Developing a Research Agenda for the Adolescents of the Pakistan” “Economic analysis of Unsafe abortion related Morbidity and mortality in Pakistan”. Mr. Javed has worked as a consultant for various national and international organizations and has extensive experience in conducting and organizing field surveys and has over 25 years of experience in secondary and primary data analysis. He holds an Mphil and masters in Economics from the University of Karachi.
